Where is Barcelona located

Barcelona (in Castilian and Catalan Barcelona) is the capital of Catalonia, an autonomous region in the north-east of Spain, as well as the capital of the province of the same name and the comarca of Barcelonès. With a population of 1,593,075 in the city and 5,082,126 in the metropolitan area, Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain.
