For a day of fun, you should definitely plan a visit to Siam Park, Europe’s largest water park located in the south of the island of Tenerife. Covering some 185,000 square metres, Siam Park offers some truly incredible attractions that make it a very popular site with adults and children alike. Opened in 2008, the park is owned by the German Kiessling family, which also owns the Loro Parque in Tenerife and the Poema Del Mar Aquarium on the island of Gran Canaria.
The park’s main theme is the ancient Kingdom of Siam, the territory we know today as Thailand. Therefore, within the park you can find white sandy beaches, unspoilt nature and a peculiar floating market reminiscent of Bangkok. The ambience, atmosphere, facilities and decorations make for a truly unique day out for visitors.
Inside the park, you can slide down steep slides, surf giant waves or launch yourself at full speed from some of the rapids. For lunch, there are several restaurants offering both international cuisine and Thai delicacies. For those who want to relax, there is also Siam Beach (a beach with an exotic and tranquil ambience), cabanas, beach villas and a Champagne Club.
Siam Park is the perfect destination for adults and children, for those who want a relaxing day out but also for those who want to experience moments of pure adrenaline. Inside the park, there are more than twenty attractions for all ages, relaxation areas and pools where you can shelter from the heat.
The water park is characterised by three sections: the relaxation area, the family area with attractions and rides suitable for adults and children, and the adrenalin area, which is ideal for those seeking maximum fun.
Tower of Power is the attraction for those who love challenges and adrenaline. Ideal only for the very brave, here you will find a 28-metre high slide that has an almost vertical slope and allows you to reach a speed of around 80 km/h. At the end of the descent down the slide is a glass tunnel that leads to a pool full of sharks.
A thrilling experience is offered by the Dragon as this ride truly defies gravity. The ride starts with a 45° drop that at high speed leads into a gigantic tunnel. It is possible to do this experience in an inflatable boat with up to four other people to share this adventure with friends or family.
The Mai Thai River aims to recreate the course of a tranquil, slow-flowing tropical river. It is possible to board small rubber dinghies and cross virtually the entire park via this river. There are both calm stretches and some faster ones, but always in complete safety. It’s fun and perfect for the whole family!
Naga Racer is the ideal attraction for those who want to experience a slide race with family or friends! If you like competition here you can take your mats and launch yourself at full speed into flowing water lanes.
The Lost City is designed to recreate a water world full of adventure, fun and games for the little ones, who can enjoy themselves here safely. It is a small ‘aquatic fortress’ with towers, bridges, nets, waterfalls and 15 water slides built inside a child-friendly pool.
Sawasdee is a special children’s area that contains the best attractions for grown-ups readapted, however, to the size of the little ones. It is an area where children can enjoy themselves in peace among slides and various attractions designed especially for them. These include a miniature replica of the Dragon attraction, one of the park’s most popular attractions.
The Wave Palace is one of Siam Park’s most popular attractions. Here you will find a pool with the largest artificial waves in the world! With surfing, you can tackle waves up to 3 metres high or paddle along the placid shores washed by white sand.
Coco Beach is the ideal area for those who want to spend a family day out with children. Here you will find a pool of over 1,000 square metres with gentle, calm waves. Lifeguards are on hand throughout the day to watch over the little swimmers. By the pool is a beach with fine, white sand that comes directly from Africa and has a special feature: it does not stick to the skin! Restaurants and all necessary services complete the offer.

Siam Park Tenerife is open throughout the year with these opening times:
Within Siam Park, there are no facilities where you can sleep. This is hardly shocking news, although indeed some theme parks in Europe do have a hotel inside. However, Siam Park is located in the heart of the most urbanised and touristic area in all of Tenerife. Specifically, we are on the border between Costa Adeje and Playa de Las Americas, where practically every building that is not a restaurant or bar is a residence, flat or hotel.
Although Siam Park is located slightly inland, you can also choose to sleep on the seafront, and reach the park entrance by hire car or by one of the shuttle buses departing from Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas or Costa Adeje.
Siam Park can be easily reached from the south of Tenerife. The park provides free shuttles from Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje that take visitors to the site.
Those who wish to take public transport can use the various bus lines that run to the station closest to the entrance, which is Playa de las Americas. For those arriving by car, however, there is a large pay car park in the area adjacent to the Park.
Siam Park is located in the city of Adeje, a town in the province of Santa Cruz in the southern part of the island of Tenerife, just a few kilometres from the hyper-tourist areas of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos.
