Tenerife South (TFS) is the Canary Islands' most visited international airport, served all year round by numerous low-cost flights to all of Europe.
Tenerife has two airports. The modern Tenerife-South (or Reina Sofía) airport, near the village of El Medano, is the busiest of the two and one of the most important in Spain. The second airport is Tenerife-North, near San Cristobal de la Laguna, which is mainly used for traffic to the other Canary Islands but still offers national and international routes.
