Rushing to rent a car at the last minute will only result in higher prices and limited fleet availability, so it is essential to move early, with the assurance that if any problem should occur, free cancellation of the booking will allow you to recover the full cost of the rental.
Once you have chosen your rental car, make sure that the fuel policy is full/full: this means that you will be given the car with a full tank, and you will have to return it with the same amount of fuel.
On the other hand, the full/empty policy will allow you to return the car with an empty tank, but at a much higher refuelling cost than if you had filled it up yourself.
