The Canary Islands consist of 7 major islands, each unique in its own way, and some smaller islets. The Canary Islands are tropical islands located in the Atlantic Ocean, opposite the coast of Africa, off the coast of Morocco. The closest island to Africa is Fuerteventura, only 95 km from the African coast, while the Canary Islands archipelago is about 940 km from the coast of mainland Spain.

Tenerife, the largest and most touristic of the Canary Islands, has an excellent tourist infrastructure ideal for all types of tourists and water sports enthusiasts. Natural parks, traditional architecture and sandy beaches are among the most beautiful examples of the archipelago. Among the most popular resorts are Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje and Puerto de la Cruz.
Fuerteventura, a paradise for beach lovers, boasts small towns and cosmopolitan villages. Popular with tourists are Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste, El Cotillo and Jandia.
Gran Canaria boasts a wonderful variety of landscapes thanks to 500 beaches, unique hilly landscapes and beautiful mountains. The centre of island tourism is Maspalomas, but also outstanding are Puerto de Mogan, Playa Puerto Rico and Playa del Ingles.
Wonderful Lanzarote is famous for its black sand beaches and volcanic landscapes. Don’t miss the Caribbean beaches of Punta del Papagayo, Playa Blanca, Costa Teguise and Puerto del Carmen.
The isla bonita of La Palma is known for its exceptional landscapes and nature reserves. Ideal for your holiday are the hotels in Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Llanos de Aridane.
The unexplored La Gomera is a unique jewel of culture and tradition. The capital San Sebastian, Valle Gran Rey, Playa Santiago and Hermigua are the island’s main resorts.
El Hierro, the smallest of the Canary Islands, is an ideal destination for diving enthusiasts and fans of mountain biking, horse riding, paragliding and whale watching.
