Blue Marlin Ibiza

Refined and exclusive, the Blue Marlin Ibiza beach club is the place for those who want a glamorous experience from morning till the next morning!

Known as the most glamorous beach club in the Balearic Islands, the Blue Marlin Ibiza is much more. This club in Cala Jondall, one of Ibiza’s most beautiful beaches, has revolutionised the concept of beach fun by inventing a new multi-format concept, comprising in one exclusive location a beach establishment with sunbeds and umbrellas, bar, restaurant, terrace and dance floor.

A true Ibiza institution and a must for those who want to fully experience the island’s legendary movida, Blue Marlin attracts a cosmopolitan clientele with refined tastes and not a few VIPs. More than a club, it is a lifestyle experience.

The success of the first Blue Marlin club in Ibiza led to the creation of a full-fledged brand that includes a radio station, a magazine and other trendy clubs and restaurants in prestigious locations in Ibiza, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.

What to do at Blue Marlin Ibiza by day and by night

If you want to experience a VIP day too, you can arrive at the Blue Marlin in the morning and lie down to sunbathe on one of the comfortable, contemporary-designed sun lounges, from which you can get up just for a dip in the crystal-clear waters or have a classy lunch at the restaurant. The culinary offerings are of the highest quality: the menu includes creative dishes invented by renowned international chefs, fusion dishes and sushi prepared with the freshest ingredients.

Aperitif time is perhaps the best time to come to the Blue Marlin: while sipping a cocktail carefully prepared by expert mixologists, you can admire a beautiful sunset over the sea. When hunger (re)sets in, treat yourself to a dinner of fresh fish.

Still not tired? Then it’s time to hit the dance floor and dance to the notes of the trendiest DJs of the moment. The theme evenings at the Blue Marlin are legendary and distinguished by the quality of the music.

Opening hours of the Blue Marlin Ibiza

The Blue Marlin Ibiza is only open from May to October, every day from morning until late evening. In July and August there are evenings with DJs or live music from Thursday to Sunday, and in the weeks around Ferragosto also every evening. On these evenings the opening is extended until 4 am.

Admission tickets to the Blue Marlin Ibiza

With the exception of some special events, there is no ticket required to enter the Blue Marlin Ibiza. You ‘only’ pay for the drinks, which, given the high quality of the ingredients and the prestige of the venue, are rather high-priced.

Expect to pay around 15.00 euro for a cocktail or a sandwich and more than 10.00 euro for a slice of cake, just to give a few examples.

The prices of sunbeds at the Blue Marlin Ibiza can vary depending on the time of year and the events taking place. As a guide only, the price is 18.00 euro per day for a sun lounge and 100.00 euro for a big bed that can accommodate up to 4 people. Be careful, however, because there is usually a compulsory bar or restaurant drink of 50.00 euro per person for a sun lounge and 300.00 euro for a big bed.

Being a VIP has never been cheap, but on holiday you can treat yourself to a few luxuries, right?

Dress code Blue Marlin Ibiza

The club does not give precise indications regarding dress code, but beach chic for the day and elegant/trendy for the evening is recommended.

How to get to the Blue Marlin Ibiza

If you are lucky enough to own a private yacht you can use the Blue Marlin’s water taxi service, which will pick you up and take you back to the boat.

Don’t worry, the Blue Marlin Ibiza can not only be reached by boat, but also by car. Cala Jondall is located along the south coast of the island, about halfway between San José and Ibiza town. Traffic permitting, calculate about fifteen minutes to get there by car from the main town (the distance is about 11 km). The only drawback is that parking is a bit small, which is why many people prefer to arrive by taxi.

Getting to the Blue Marlin Ibiza by public transport is not recommended as it is definitely not very chic!

Where to stay near the Blue Marlin

The Blue Marlin is located in Cala Jondal, in an area where there are no facilities to sleep. However, there are a few small boutique hotels, private flats and villas in very secluded locations nearby, which are the best option for sleeping near this beautiful nightclub. Alternatively, you can easily sleep in Eivissa or in the airport area and get there by car or taxi.
